McGuireWoods is seeking an Associate to support its Corporate and Private Equity practice in San Francisco.
The Corporate and Private Equity Department consists of more than 90 attorneys whose practices focus on all types of private equity transactions including leveraged buy-outs, independent sponsor transactions, rollups, minority and junior capital investments, "going private" transactions and purchases of troubled companies in or out of bankruptcy. We have a team devoted to representing emerging managers and other general partners as well as significant limited partners in forming private equity, growth equity, venture capital, mezzanine, and real estate funds. Salary: $235,000 - $355,000
- We are seeking associate candidates with 2-5 years of experience in acquisition financing transactions for private equity funds with the demonstrated ability to lead transactions.
- Candidate must be experienced in working on borrower-side matters.
- Our private equity department has a large, national platform that we are seeking to further expand with the right candidate.
- Must be barred in California.
- Must have a strong academic record, excellent writing and oral communication skills and the ability to work independently with clients and colleagues.
