The Advanced Advertising Account Specialist is a key partner in providing post-sale support for the Enterprise National Advanced Sales and Account Management Teams. This position will efficiently act as a strategic cross-functional partner between Sales, Account Management, and various cross-functional teams (i.e. Yield & Inventory, AdOps, Finance) as they execute, manage & optimize, report, bill and steward Spectrum's national advanced business post-sale to ensure the proper campaign elements are received and executed as intended.


* The ideal candidate will have basic Programmatic experience

Partner with Account Managers and Sales to understand client KPI's/campaign specs and work with multiple cross functional teams to execute on those goals.

Execute advanced campaigns post-sale in order management systems efficiently and accurately across all buy strategies both direct IO and programmatic.

Provide in-flight campaign management and stewardship on all advanced campaigns. This includes campaign execution accuracy, proper creative implementation, monitoring pacing and reporting to ensure that campaigns are running in alignment with the client's KPIs and expectations.

Partner with Account Managers as a resource to troubleshoot and ensure that campaigns are set up correctly to deliver accurately.

Work cross functionally with AdOps to ensure correct campaign and creative fulfillment, tagging strategy has been implemented and provide optimization strategy according KPI's.

Partner with Account Managers and Sales to review and evaluate campaign effectiveness, driving account strategy for retaining clients and positioning new business.

Show solid understanding of product capabilities and be able to maximize inventory usage to ensure proposal delivery.

Key liaison with key cross functional partners (Sales, Account Management, Ad Operations, Yield & Inventory, Finance, etc.)

Partner with Sales to manage campaign invoicing, billing, and reconciliation.


Required Skills/Abilities and Knowledge

Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communications with overarching skill to translate data, information, and research into powerful points of view-ability to craft and tell a compelling story

Effective communication skills and attention to detail in a faced paced sales environment

Familiarity with and experience in digital marketing; understanding of online campaign development, metrics, and optimization strategies

Ability to decipher between client needs, for example, 'branding' campaigns VS 'call to action' and the difference between those schedules

Familiarity with writing rationales and/or agency POVs ("point of views"

Demonstrated understanding of reach and frequency when measuring campaign

An analytical mindset that identifies solutions based in data

Ability to back-up work and have good logic to creating schedules

Media sales campaign management (1-2 years), experience reviewing digital advertising campaign performance and execution

Required Education

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience

Required Related Work Experience and Number of Years

Strong brand, product, integrated marketing and/or advertising sales marketing experience - 3+

Preferred Skills/Abilities and Knowledge

  • Knowledge of digital solutions, and advanced advertising products
  • Technical expertise in Programmatic, digital solutions, and advanced advertising products
  • Experience and strong knowledge of SSP & DSP platforms
  • Clear knowledge of media terms as well as media formulas & calculations.
  • Previous experience supporting a team of Sales, advertising, or marketing professionals
  • Previous experience in an Ad Agency, Media, and/or Ad Sales

Preferred Education

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience

Preferred Related Work Experience and Number of Years

Experience in Advertising Sales and digital campaign management in the Programmatic space

The base pay for this position generally is between $60,400.00 and $96,800.00. The actual compensation offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. We comply with local wage minimums and also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of other incentive-based compensation such as bonuses.
