Analyst, Project Management, Remote

Job Description

The Analyst - Project Management supports cross-functional initiatives by coordinating timelines, resources, and deliverables, maintaining project plans, risk/issue logs, and documentation in alignment with PMO standards. They analyze project performance data to produce clear dashboards and status reports, facilitate stakeholder communications and meeting cadences, and recommend process improvements to drive on-time, on-budget delivery.

Primary Duties:

  • Maintain and own integrated project schedules: Establish and update task lists, dependencies, and resource allocations; set and manage baselines; make sequencing and dependency decisions with workstream leads; run change control on schedule updates; surface critical path/slippage and drive corrective actions to keep delivery on track.
  • Own the status reporting and governance cadence for assigned projects: Define reporting standards and KPIs; interpret variances, highlight decisions needed, and make go/no-go or trade-off recommendations; escalate exceptions and track agreed actions to closure.
  • Facilitate meeting: Plan decision-oriented agendas for standups, planning, retrospectives, and status reviews; convene the right decision-makers; document minutes, decisions, owners, and due dates; manage RAID and decision logs; enforce RACI and follow through to ensure decisions are executed.
  • Perform analysis and scenario modeling to inform decisions: Analyze trends, schedule risks, and resource constraints; identify critical path and capacity hotspots; develop mitigation options and trade-off scenarios; recommend corrective actions, secure approvals, and monitor impact to ensure outcomes meet targets.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of relevant experience
  • Bachelor's degree in business, information systems, engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication; meeting facilitation and documentation skills
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and influence without formal authority
  • Basic financial acumen (budget tracking, forecasting, variance analysis)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of project management frameworks and methods
  • Ability to build/maintain WBS, Gantt charts, milestones, resource assignments, and backlogs
  • Ability to run standups, planning, retros, and status meetings; capture minutes, actions, and decisions
  • Communication skills/ability to build concise executive summaries, stakeholder updates, and clear requirements/acceptance criteria
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines with strong attention to detail and follow-through
  • Ability to learn new domains, tools, and processes quickly and drive continuous improvement in PM practices
