The Washington, D.C. office of McGuireWoods seeks an Associate to join its Antitrust group. 

Businesses should be able to use all available tools and strategies to compete. We serve clients as business counselors, trial lawyers and agency professionals throughout the world in virtually every significant area of antitrust and competition law, including:

  • Antitrust Audits and Compliance Programs 
  • Antitrust Counseling 
  • Antitrust Litigation and Government Investigations 
  • Business Antitrust Counseling 
  • Class Action Litigation 
  • Debarment Proceedings 
  • European Competition, International Trade and EU Regulatory 
  • Grand Jury Investigations and Criminal Prosecutions 
  • International Cartel Investigations 
  • Mergers and Acquisitions 
  • Private Treble Damage Litigation 
  • State Aid within the EU

Salary: $260,000 - $355,000

  • McGuireWoods is seeking a mid-level associate with 3-5 years of experience and a demonstrated background in M&A, HSR, merger compliance, and transactional counseling.
  • While premerger experience is essential for this position, associates will be able to participate in all aspects of the practice and can expect to receive significant responsibility early on.   
  • Excellent academic credentials and writing skills are required, large firm or relevant government agency experience is preferred.  
  • Candidates who have completed a federal clerkship will be strongly considered.  
  • Please submit a cover letter, resume, and law school transcript.
  • DC bar is required.
