Solution Architect
Job Responsibilities
- Leads evaluation, design, and analysis for implementing solutions architecture based on enterprise strategy, capabilities, requirements, and standards.
- Collaborates with management, business leaders, and stakeholders to align business roadmap with operational decisions.
- Identifies organizational and financial impacts of the solution's architecture.
- Translates business and technical requirements into an architectural blueprint and documents all design and analysis work.
- Works closely with Product Owners to ensure support for future business requirements.
- Develops end-to-end project solutions, designs, and defines execution approaches.
- Defines project risks and gaps and leads efforts to resolve them.
- Collaborate with external partners for solutioning, implementation, and execution.
- Influence and guide stakeholders and peers with decision-making.
- Work effectively in a team environment and lead cross-functional teams.
Job Requirements
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, systems engineering, or related field.
Work Experience
- At least 5 years of experience in IT solution development disciplines like technical or infrastructure architecture, network management, application development, middleware, database management, or cloud development.
- Experience architecting secure applications for Healthcare with knowledge of PHI, PII, and HIPAA compliance.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
- Experience in designing cloud-native applications (Azure) and knowledge of Azure native services.
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 – Sales, Customer Service applications.
- Experience with reporting tools like Power BI and Tableau dashboards.
- Experience in data governance, technology standards management, business application rationalization, and application portfolio management.
- Solid understanding of reference architecture patterns and well-architected frameworks.
- Understanding of high availability, application recovery, and cloud infrastructure resiliency.
- Experience with low-code development platforms like Microsoft Power Platform and OutSystems.
- Experience with various database technologies (MSSQL, MongoDB, Oracle, HANA).
- Solid understanding of product management, agile principles, development methodologies, and the capability of supporting agile teams.
- Knowledge of enterprise technology architecture aspects like business, information, data, network, and security.
- Good understanding of strategic and emerging technology trends.
- Awareness of AI use cases within an enterprise setting.
- Familiarity with application portfolio management practices.

The anticipated salary range for this position:
$132,600.00 - $199,160.00 AnnualThe actual salary will vary based on applicant’s location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. This role is bonus and/or incentive eligible. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold.
