Position Title: Associate Change Controller / Risk Manager
Location: Remote
Duration: Long-Term Contract
Position SummaryThe Associate Change Controller / Risk Manager is responsible for developing and maintaining a structured, consistent, and measurable change environment across the department. This role ensures risk policies are communicated effectively and that processes align with established guidelines. The individual will collaborate with business partners to prepare action plans that reduce risk, analyze the impact of changes on programs, and identify strategies to mitigate cost and schedule impacts. Additional responsibilities include reviewing and enhancing processes to support an efficient workforce.
This position offers growth opportunities in process development, risk management, and change control. It provides exposure to cross-functional project requirements across teams such as Procurement, Store Layout, Finance, Scheduling, Architecture & Engineering, Legal, Merchandising, and Construction field teams. Relationship management across internal business units is a key component of the role.
Primary Responsibilities
- Develop and manage change control process improvements, including post-mortem reviews.
- Conduct policy and compliance audits; support internal and external audit processes.
- Create KPIs using both quantitative and qualitative metrics to support enterprise objectives.
- Perform risk and change assessments for assigned programs, identifying and resolving issues.
- Enhance reporting and auditing processes for change orders and purchase orders; improve TRIRIGA budget workflows.
- Bachelor’s degree required in Design, Architecture, Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical), Construction Management, Business Management, or equivalent experience.
- 3–5 years of related work experience required.
- Ability to lead in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Adaptability to shifting priorities and changing business needs.
- Strong stakeholder communication and influence skills.
- Collaborative mindset with a focus on team success.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Deep understanding of program/project management methodologies.
- Familiarity with design and construction best practices.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
- Experience with web-based applications such as TRIRIGA, MS Project, SAP, and Ariba.
