Position Summarye.l.f. Cosmetics is seeking a collaborative, detail-oriented Associate Manager, Distribution to join our high-growth beauty company. This role partners cross-functionally across e.l.f. and with our third-party logistics provider (3PL) to manage our merchandise and Value-Added Services (VAS) programs. Key responsibilities include overseeing inbound VAS components, outbound VAS kits, work order management, and ensuring all programs are executed accurately, efficiently, and on schedule. The Associate Manager will also deliver ongoing reporting on VAS readiness, execution, cost, completion, and inventory, while supporting continuous improvements across Distribution operations.
Responsibilities- Manage U.S. merchandise and VAS programs end-to-end.- Assign, develop, and monitor program details with internal teams and the 3PL.- Coordinate timelines with the 3PL and ensure on-time, accurate execution.- Prepare and distribute reporting for VAS readiness, completion, cost, execution, and residual inventory.- Support leadership and cross-functional teams with product, supply, and operational requests.- Generate, distribute, and track all work orders.- Plan outbound shipments to U.S. customers in partnership with Order Management, Warehouse Operations, and transportation 3PLs.- Investigate root causes of customer on-time delivery penalties and drive corrective action plans.- Support the development and execution of operational strategies.- Monitor daily operations to ensure efficiency, quality, and compliance with standards.- Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement, cost reduction, and workflow optimization.- Foster strong collaboration with Warehouse Operations and cross-functional partners.- Ensure alignment with company goals, operational metrics, and service expectations.- Collect and analyze operational data to identify trends and assess performance.- Prepare and present KPI reporting and insights to senior management.- Track and manage budgets, expenses, and resource utilization.- Maintain high service levels and resolve operational issues impacting customer satisfaction.- Ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.- Lead and support cross-functional projects, including timeline, resource, and deliverable management.
Requirements- Strong ability to prioritize tasks based on department goals.- Ability to recommend improvements to policies, procedures, and delivery performance.- Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for scheduling, reporting, and data analysis.- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) preferred.- Strong analytical skills and ability to make data-driven decisions.- Exceptional organizational and time-management abilities.- Effective communication skills for partnering with internal teams and external vendors.- Problem-solving mindset with ability to navigate operational challenges.- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.- Flexibility to travel to U.S. 3PL facilities as needed.
