Beacon Protocol AnalystLocation: Boston, Massachusetts (Partial Remote)
Employment Type: Contract
An opportunity is available for a Beacon Protocol Analyst with Epic Beacon experience to support a large-scale oncology implementation. This role will focus on protocol build, validation, and workflow design across hematology, oncology, and radiation oncology. The position involves close partnership with clinical and application teams to ensure successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities- Support the identification, analysis, build, testing, training, and implementation of Epic Beacon functionality.
- Design and build Hematology Oncology and Radiation Oncology workflows.
- Perform extensive Beacon protocol build and validation activities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional application teams to ensure the build remains aligned with project timelines.
- Proactively identify and escalate risks or issues to the Beacon Lead and Ancillary Director.
- Participate in migration strategy planning and issue resolution efforts.
- Work independently while also contributing effectively as part of a broader implementation team.
- Mentor and support team members to promote knowledge sharing and consistency.
Experience: A minimum of 3+ years of Epic Beacon experience is required, including at least 2 full lifecycle Epic Beacon implementations. Extensive experience with protocol build and validation is necessary.
Certifications: Epic Beacon Certification is required.
Skills: Strong communication skills and the ability to work in fast-paced, enterprise healthcare environments are required.
Additional InformationThis is a contract role with the potential for an extension. The duration is from April 2026 to September 25, 2026. Travel is estimated at approximately 25%, aligned with project needs. Visa sponsorship is not provided for this position.
