Job Description
Position Responsibilities:
- Assist in supporting and delivering all company applications by addressing level 1 and 2 escalated requests, analyzing complex business problems, developing cost-effective processes, configuring system settings, planning and executing testing, and creating specifications to meet business requirements.
- Participate in the analysis and design of system solutions, providing assistance to development teams, leveraging a SDLC model from concept, as well as analyzing impact of proposed solutions across the business
- Provide analysis to improve business processes and technology while managing issues resolution, including assisting the helpdesk personnel and customers using negotiation and conflict management skills
- Understand and fully utilize ITIL-type methodology for responding to functional and technical issues, including incident management, technical investigation, and the creation of plans
- Independently run small projects, leading application, infrastructure and business resources utilizing the SDLC model, as well as support data exchange in the form of electronic data interchange between our company and external business partners
- Other duties as assigned
Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree and 1 to 2 plus years of business analysis experience or High School Diploma and 5 plus years of specific experience
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Management Information Systems/Science
- Experience with JDEdwards EnterpriseOne supporting ERP applications
