Responsibilities of the position will include but are not limited to:
General
• Act as the primary point of contact for all Business Operations teams across Divisions and Corporate, building strong relationships with peers and senior leaders.
• Organize Sector and Corporate businessdevelopment review meetings: select the right attendees, prepare and review presentation decks, and handle logistics for both classified and unclassified sessions.
• Check Sector presentation materials for completeness, accuracy, and proper style based on the audience and meeting type.
• Oversee the regular businessdevelopment reporting and meeting cycles for the Sector and Corporate, coordinating with Division and Corporate teams and communicating clear expectations and deadlines.
• Track Sector Business Development tasks, providing timely status updates and confirming completion.
• Lead the implementation of businessdevelopment initiatives and projects launched by sector leadership, working collaboratively across the organization.
• Prepare leadership for meetings and events by gathering data, drafting talking points, creating presentation assets, and handling logistical needs.
• Manage the Sector BD Operations team, supporting their professional development and evaluating performance.
Pipeline Management and Administration
• Serve as the Space Sector expert for Salesforce and related tools (e.g., CRM Analytics, Tableau).
• Lead the Space Sector Salesforce Working Group and represent the sector on the enterprise Salesforce Product Committee.
• Develop, integrate, and deliver operational data and businessdevelopment reports, including dashboards and visualizations for executive leadership.
• Build and maintain Salesforce and Tableau dashboards to visualize and automate pipeline data.
• Design and provide pipelinetool training in multiple formats (classroom, online, jobaid).
• Work with corporate, sector, division, CIO, and DTO teams to gather functional requirements and write user stories for Agile development.
Customer Relationship Management (CRM)
• Establish CRM best practices in Salesforce by partnering closely with the Customer Engagement team to ensure data integrity.
• Create and maintain dashboards and other visual reports.
Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree plus 10 years of related experience (or a Master's degree plus 8 years), including work in business development, engineering, operations, finance, program management, or project management.
• Minimum of 5 years in the aerospace or defense industries.
• Active DoD TS/SCI security clearance at the time of application.
• Proven team leadership skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
• Experience in data analysis, executive-level reporting, and presentation.
• Proficiency with Salesforce and Microsoft Office applications.
• Demonstrated ability to build trusted advisor relationships.
• Excellent prioritization skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
• Detail-oriented with strong data analytic capabilities.
• Willingness to travel up to 20%.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Familiarity with Northrop Grumman's Business Acquisition Process (BAP)
• Experience in business development or capture roles
• Proficiency in LX, SharePoint, S-Docs, and Tableau
Primary Level Salary Range: $175,400.00 - $263,200.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
