Skills and Competencies

Qualifications Required

  • 5+ years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or related roles
  • Proficiency in BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Qlik) and SQL
  • Strong proficiency in Python for data analysis, modeling, and automation
  • Experience with Databricks and Microsoft Fabric for data engineering and analytics
  • Experience managing analytics projects and leading teams
    • Proven ability to connect disparate data sources to create integrated analytics solutions

Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Business Intelligence & Analytics Manager to lead the development, implementation, and optimization of BI and analytics solutions that drive data-informed decision-making across the organization.

This role will be responsible for managing the end-to-end analytics lifecycle - from data acquisition and governance to dashboard design, advanced analytics, and stakeholder engagement. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical skills with business acumen, enabling them to translate complex data into actionable insights for leadership and operational teams.

Strategy & Leadership

  • Develop and execute the organization's BI and analytics strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Partner with key stakeholders to identify analytics opportunities and prioritize initiatives.

Data Engineering & Integration

  • Develop robust data pipelines in Databricks and Fabric for ingestion, transformation, and analysis of SFDC and related datasets.
  • Ensure data quality, consistency, and governance across financial analytics datasets.
  • Automate recurring analytics processes to improve efficiency and scalability.

Business Intelligence Development

  • Design, build, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik.
  • Develop KPIs, metrics, and scorecards to monitor business performance across functions.
  • Implement self-service BI capabilities to empower business users.

Advanced Analytics

  • Conduct deep-dive analyses to uncover trends, patterns, and root causes of business performance issues.
  • Utilize statistical methods and predictive modeling to forecast outcomes and support strategic planning.
  • Support pipeline analytics, ARR reporting, customer segmentation, and other core business metrics.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Serve as the primary liaison between analytics and business teams, translating requirements into technical solutions.
  • Present insights and recommendations to executive leadership in a clear, concise manner.
  • Collaborate with marketing, sales, finance, and operations to ensure analytics solutions meet cross-functional needs.

Problem Solving & Solution Orientation

  • Proactively identify gaps in data or analytics processes and propose innovative solutions.
  • Troubleshoot data issues and work to resolve discrepancies in ARR and pipeline reporting.
  • Continuously improve analytics methodologies to enhance decision-making capabilities.

For US-based roles only: the anticipated hiring base salary range for this position is$118,700.00-$172,250.00, depending on factors such as experience, education, level, skills, and location. This range is based on a full-time position. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for incentive compensation. Moody's also offers a competitive benefits package, including not but limited to medical, dental, vision, parental leave, paid time off, a 401(k) plan with employee and company contribution opportunities, life, disability, and accident insurance, a discounted employee stock purchase plan, and tuition reimbursement.
