Location: METROHEALTH MEDICAL CENTER

Biweekly Hours: 80.00

Shift: Variable Shifts; 7a-3:30p, 3p-11:30p, 11p-7:30a

Summary:


Performs various duties in the operating room. Maintains the cleanliness and efficiency of operating room services. Performs limited neonate through geriatric patient care services. Orients employees to equipment and procedures. Serves as a role model to other operation room technicians and students. Upholds the mission, vision, values, and customer service standards of The MetroHealth System.

Qualifications:

Required: High school graduate or passage of a high school equivalency exam. Graduate of an accredited School of Surgical Technology. Possesses and maintains certification as a surgical technologist. Current AHA Basic Life Support certification or obtains within 90 days of hire. Ability to interact effectively with a wide range of cultural, ethnic, racial, and socioeconomic backgrounds. Preferred: None Physical Requirements: May sit, stand, stoop, bend, and ambulate intermittently during the day. May need to sit or stand for extended periods. See in the normal visual range with or without correction. Hear in the normal audio range with or without correction. Ability to push/pull 350 pounds. Ability to lift 35 pounds.
