About the Role

We are seeking a Cloud Ops Engineer with strong hands-on experience in AWS and a deep understanding of infrastructure as code. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Terraform and AWS CDK and have experience deploying containerized applications using Docker and EKS (Elastic Kubernetes Service). This role involves building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, integrating automated test cases, and collaborating closely with developers to ensure seamless deployment and delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Deploy and manage infrastructure in AWS using Terraform and AWS CDK.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines in GitLab, ensuring efficient and reliable deployment processes.
• Support containerized application deployments, leveraging Docker and EKS to optimize scalability and performance.
• Implement blue-green deployment strategies to minimize downtime and risk during updates.
• Integrate and execute automated test cases within deployment pipelines to maintain software quality.
• Collaborate with development teams to streamline integration and delivery processes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues, ensuring resilience and operational efficiency.

Must-Have Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with AWS, including cloud infrastructure deployment and management.
• Proficiency in Terraform and AWS CDK, with a solid grasp of infrastructure as code principles.
• Experience deploying containerized applications using Docker and EKS.
• Familiarity with GitLab, including experience in building and managing CI/CD pipelines.
• Ability to integrate and execute automated test cases within CI/CD workflows.
• Solid understanding of Git, including branching, tagging, and conflict resolution.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

• Experience with Python scripting for automation and deployment tasks.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes, extending beyond EKS-specific implementations.
• Knowledge of blue-green and canary deployment strategies, optimizing release management.
• Monitoring experience using Datadog and Splunk, ensuring proactive infrastructure health monitoring.
• Exposure to Node.js environments, providing additional flexibility in tooling and application integration.
