Overview:

Bunge is hiring entry level candidates into our Trainee Program. We are looking for collaborative, coachable candidates with strong critical thinking and communication skills. Positions require a Bachelor's degree from a four year accredited college or university and a desire to build a career in the food and agribusiness industry. You will develop the skills and knowledge needed to provide a solid foundation in all aspects of commercial processes. The Commercial Trainee will participate in a 18-24 month program with rotations in Supply Chain, Customer Service and Trading.

Essential Functions:

  • Develop a thorough understanding of oilseed processing, refining, and exporting operations; supply chain execution; and position management
  • Assist location and corporate staff in analyzing changing market conditions, demonstrating an understanding of supply and demand balance sheets
  • Develop understanding of the customer experience and the perspectives and needs of both the customer and a seller throughout the full sales process.
  • Become familiar with the fundamentals of domestic and international cash oilseeds trading and risk management
  • Demonstrate your level of understanding by responding to verbal or written inquiries from supervisors, mentors, or program manager
  • Ability to communicate effectively with Bunge internal and external customers
  • Travel to other Bunge locations for instructional purposes (as needed)

Skill/Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year accredited college or university required
    • Degree in business, agribusiness, and/or supply chain preferred
  • Must be collaborative, results oriented and possess strong critical thinking skills
  • Ability to adjust to multiple demands, shifting priorities, ambiguity, adversity, and constant change
