Location: METROHEALTH MEDICAL CENTER
Biweekly Hours: 80.00
Shift: 7:30a-4p

Founded in 1837, Cuyahoga County's safety-net health system operates four hospitals, four emergency departments and more than 20 health centers.
Summary:
Provides logistics support for the Department of Clinical Engineering (CE). Processes and tracks all MetroHealth Medical device repair parts and service request purchases; assures that appropriate authorizations are obtained and proper processes are followed. Provides documentation to track all purchases and enters purchases in the appropriate systems for electronic approvals. Takes physical receipt of deliveries from Materials Management department and arranges for their distribution. Contacts vendors for quotes and order status. Safeguards and maintains the physical inventory of all hardware and parts. Manages and tracks all aspects of inventory, including maintaining an asset tracking database and service contracts/warranty tracking. Understands, analyzes, interprets, and documents CE process workflows. Produces reports that demonstrate a clear understanding of service metrics regarding best practices. Provides CE statistics, reporting, billing, contracts, and purchasing initiatives. Assist with payroll records for the CE staff. Ensures efficient operations of the CE Call Center/Dispatch operations and that a high level of service is provided to our customers. Upholds the mission, vision, values, and customer service standards of The MetroHealth System.

Qualifications:
Required:
- Meets one of the following:
- Associates Degree in related field and 2 years of related experience
- 3 years of related experience in purchasing and inventory management Self-starter and quick learner.
- Ability to accurately retain information in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Superior telephone etiquette.
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated understanding of coordinating administrative and logistical functions of an office.
- Demonstrated proficiency in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Preferred:
- Experience in the use of a purchasing software system(s).
- Working knowledge of medical terminology.
- Working knowledge of medical equipment nomenclature.
- Experience in retailing and inventory handling.
- Experience in large inventory management.
Physical Requirements:
- May sit, stand, stoop, bend, and ambulate intermittently during the day.
- May need to sit or stand for extended periods.
- See in the normal visual range with or without correction.
- Hear in the normal audio range with or without correction.
- Finger dexterity to operate office equipment required.
- May need to lift up to twenty-five (25) pounds on occasion.
- Ability to communicate in face-to-face, phone, email, and other communications.
- Ability to see computer monitor and departmental documents.
