Customer Logistics Liaison

Land O'Lakes is seeking a Customer Logistics team member to support our Dairy Foods business. This position requires on-site work in our Arden Hills office.

Key responsibilities will include:

Order Management:

* Involves managing a set of customers from time-of-order entry to invoicing. Must have skills in problem solving, decision making, customer relationship, process development and improvement.

Problem Solving and Decision Making:

* Provides direction to cross-functional teams to meet customer fulfillment expectations, while ensuring company business processes are followed and appropriate cost and quality considerations are made.

* Identifies problems proactively, determines root cause and is responsible for driving resolution of all issues related to the fulfillment of

customer orders.

* Owns individual decision making and coordinates collaborative decisions to ensure timely resolution.

* Quantifies costs and evaluates business requirements to help determine the best resolution for critical customer situations.

Customer Relationship Management:

* Communicates, collaborates and negotiates with internal and external customers and supply chain partners to manage service while

balancing cost and quality across the supply chain.

* Develops and owns customer relationship in order to anticipate customer needs and proactively provide service

* Balances the need for business practice adherence vs. circumstantial exceptions

* Identifies and drives supply chain opportunities for win/win solutions with strategic customers

Process Development and Improvement:

*Identifies, initiates, develops and executes continuous improvements and efficiencies; examples include customer focused initiatives and customer scorecards.

*Collaborates with Supply Chain, Marketing, Sales, and Financial Services to identify customer behavior trends that may have cost implications or impact our ability to meet service expectations.

Experience-Education:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree required
  • 3 or more years of experience in Customer Logistics, Supply Chain or related field - including customer relationship management
  • Experience with MS Suite

Salary range: $69,040 - $103,560 (in most cases, candidates offered employment can expect to be hired at a pay rate near the middle of our salary ranges)
