Development Operations Intern
Job Description
Join the Development Operations Department as an intern!
Duties include: Assisting with specific research and data gathering projects, providing staffing support during major donor events, and providing administrative support to the team as needed. Interns are encouraged to join all department activities and meetings.
This is a great opportunity for the intern to enhance their skills in organization, multitasking, and communications while learning more about non-profit structure, including mission, and staff collaboration. The intern will gain technical training by assisting with prospect research, brainstorming creative methods for data visualization, data entry and wayfinding using our donor database, Tessitura.
In addition to the duties above, the Development department works with interns to create specific projects that align with their academic pursuits and personal interests. These projects are essential to creating a meaningful internship experience.
Internship Qualifications: College student with excellent written and oral communication, planning and organizational skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong interpersonal skills and precise attention to detail are required. The intern may provide additional support for some weekend and evening events. Must be computer literate and have knowledge of and ease with Microsoft Office. Experience in conducting online research preferred.
