The Role

The FFIO Quality Management Director is a new strategic role responsible for the proactive identification of risk and establishment of controls to mitigate gaps in the control environment. This role requires an inquisitive, innovative and thoughtful leader to drive a culture of continuous improvement and collaborate with business partners on analyzing trends and identifying improvement opportunities. You will be required to engage across FFIO to create a robust control environment, leveraging automation and data analytics to identify and remediate control gaps and to manage the effective execution of key controls. Along with internal coordination and communication, you will work extensively with leaders of all operational areas, as well as FFIO Risk and Technology.

The role is expected to be both an executor and strategic contributor to the FFIO Digital Operations organization and participate in planning and delivering quality management training and education, associate development and other cross-organizational opportunities as needed.

* Collaborating with business partners on process improvement recommendations and resolution of issues

* Performing trend analysis of quality data to identify common root causes and determine improvement opportunities

* Communicating quality trends, outcomes and recommendations to senior leadership

* Deploying new control processes to reduce risk in the operating environment

* Handling escalated situations with appropriate urgency, context, and risk mitigation focus

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

* A Bachelor's degree

* Demonstrated experience in operations, process and /or quality management

* Communication & Listening skills: Excellent written, presentation and interpersonal skills. An effective communicator for internal collaboration and senior leadership presentations

* Ability to navigate and influence across the organization

* Proven track record of successfully leading a team

* Analytical Problem solver: Able to assess information from multiple angles and break down complex information into concepts and data to drive insights and action

* You are a strong communicator with a consultative approach, with demonstrated ability to influence the outcome

* Strong project management and organizational skills; the ability to multi-task and prioritize concurrent assignments with a keen sense of urgency is imperative

* You use critical thinking skills and analysis to troubleshoot and present recommendations for process improvements

The Team

Fidelity Fund & Investment Operations (FFIO) is a division of Fidelity Investments, which provides investment management support services to Fidelity businesses and mutual fund shareholders. FFIO provides a wide range of asset servicing functions including proxy research, information and data services, pricing, cash management, accounting, integrated solutions, relationship management, and global product services.
