The Role

The Analytics & Commercialization Team is seeking a Director of Distribution Enablement to provide key support with vitality and emerging product enablement, distribution strategy, lead generation, targeting, and measurement to enable the sales execution by our various distribution teams, including Intermediary and Institutional, in collaboration with Distribution, Product, Marketing, and Analytics and Commercialization teams. Responsibilities include the following:

  • Partner closely with teams and individuals across FI to translate pivotal initiatives into execution plans, develop key metrics and data to track performance, and ensure timely execution of deliverables.

  • Collaborate with Distribution and Specialist teams to develop and implement segmentation plans and targeting strategy to accelerate the sale of emerging products. This may include developing a framework to identify new opportunities and optimize existing relationships, developing a cross-functional coverage model, and informing scorecard and KPI metrics.

  • Build strong presentations and data visualizations that effectively convey analytical findings and recommended actions to inform and influence decision-makers. Develop and deliver insights that build consensus around critical initiatives and execution plans and that inform stakeholders of implementation progress or hurdles.

  • Research and synthesize internal (FI/Enterprise) and external (market/industry) trends and data to inform thinking around distribution strategy and execution.

  • Engage with other members of the FI organization to help shape the operating model, and to streamline interactions with shared services teams.

  • Provide program management and execution support as needed.

  • Support strategic and tactical initiatives across enablement and distribution effectiveness teams, providing support for broad FI distribution initiatives and specific Analytics and Commercialization needs.

  • Partner closely with teams and individuals across FI to translate pivotal initiatives into execution plans, develop key metrics and data to track performance, and ensure timely execution of deliverables.

The Analytics and Commercialization team is a key enabler of the FI/IWMS strategies and drives sustainable commercial value to Fidelity by leveraging our collective intelligence and forming forward-looking perspectives to unlock, package and deliver growth and scale opportunities for our clients. The org includes the following teams that collectively work together to drive end-to-end connectivity to realize our outcomes: Data foundation and management, Analytics and Insights, Market Intelligence and Commercialization, Investment and Business Consulting specialists, Cash and Banking solutions and Distribution Enablement and Effectiveness (this role).

Fidelity Institutional provides investment management services through investment professionals at financial institutions nationwide including wirehouses, regionals and independent broker/dealers, bank, trust companies, and insurance companies. The company offers Fidelity Advisor Funds, ETF's, Variable Insurance Products (VIP) Portfolios, Fidelity Advisor 529 Plans, Systematic Investment Plans, Institutional Money Market funds, and a comprehensive line of retirement products and services in partnership with Fidelity's Workplace Investing arm. Our clients are financial institutions and investment professionals (IPs). Our goal is to help our clients grow their business so that we can increase our assets under management, and our market share.

The base salary range for this position is $90,000 - $150,000 per year.

Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate's relevant experience, and other factors.

Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements, the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.
