Location: BROOKLYN HEIGHTS

Biweekly Hours: 80.00

Shift: 8a-5p

Founded in 1837, Cuyahoga County's safety-net health system operates four hospitals, four emergency departments and more than 20 health centers.

Summary:


Manages and develops relationships with donors through effective engagement practices. Ensures that donors feel appreciated, informed, and connected to the impact of their contributions. Coordinates and implements donor recognition, provides leadership for events, annual fund, employee campaign, donor stewardship, and alumni giving. Assists with reporting and collaborates on communication strategies that focus on strengthening long-term relationships with individuals and organizations that support The MetroHealth System's (MHS) and MetroHealth Foundation's (MHF) mission, vision, values, and customer service standards.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree or any equivalent combination of education, training and experience in addition to the experience stated below.
  • Minimum of seven years of experience in a non-profit, healthcare, IT, or financial work environment.
  • Advanced knowledge of Raiser's Edge or comparable database management experience.
  • Knowledge of accounting or financial principles and practices.
  • Experience working with extremely sensitive and confidential materials.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced work environment that requires the completion of multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to be self-directed, self-motivated, and able to complete detailed work accurately and on schedule.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in Windows Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint and Excel).
  • Ability to interact effectively with a wide range of cultural, ethnic, racial, and socioeconomic backgrounds.


Preferred:

  • Experience with Raiser's Edge NXT Experience in both operational and fundraising roles in a non-profit

Physical Demands:

  • May need to move around intermittently during the day, including sitting, standing, stooping, bending, and ambulating.
  • May need to remain still for extended periods, including sitting and standing.
  • Ability to communicate in face-to-face, phone, email, and other communications.
  • Ability to read job related documents.
  • Ability to use computer.
