Key Responsibilities
Partner with Regional Director on recruiting efforts within an assigned territory.
Proactively manage your region's talent pipeline by guiding candidates through key stages of the recruiting process-for example, encouraging attendance to VIP following an initial meeting, or re-engaging candidates who have become inactive after initial contact.
Effectively engage your sourcing partners to deliver qualified leads for initial advisor meetings, ensuring a steady pipeline of high-potential candidates aligned with Ameriprise's growth strategy.
Monitor and confirm contact occurs with each new lead. Maintain direct communication with sourcing partners to ensure there is a next step with every lead.
Conduct Initial Meetings with candidates and be prepared to articulate the Ameriprise value proposition, including our client-focused culture, integrated technology, robust support systems, and growth opportunities.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders (e.g. field leaders, DVPs, transition teams) to ensure a seamless candidate experience.
Stay current on industry trends, competitive intelligence, and advisor movement to inform recruiting strategy.
Required Qualifications
5-7 years' relevant experience
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work relevant experience
Preferred Qualifications
Series 7
Industry certifications e.g. CFP, CRPC
Proactive mindset with the skill for identifying and addressing issues early
Strong understanding of financial advisor community - their motivations, challenges, and aspirations
Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple processes simultaneously and drive results
Strategic thinker with a goal-oriented mindset

Base Pay Salary
The estimated base salary for this role is $91,600 - $123,700 / year. We have a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy. Your initial total compensation may vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographical work location. In addition, most of our roles are eligible for variable pay in the form of bonus, commissions, and/or long-term incentives depending on the role.
