Job Title: Electrical Assembler – 1st & 2nd Shift

Location: Sussex WI

Openings: 10 Total (5–6 for 1st Shift, 5–6 for 2nd Shift)

About the Role:

We are seeking experienced Electrical Assemblers to join our production team. In this role, you will assemble electrical control panels with precision and efficiency, ensuring compliance with industry standards and customer expectations. This is a hands-on position ideal for candidates with strong electrical knowledge and a commitment to quality.

Shift Details:

1st Shift (Monday – Friday):

Flexible 8-hour shifts with a 20-minute paid lunch

Choose one consistent schedule:

  • 5:00 AM – 1:00 PM
  • 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM
  • 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
  • 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM

2nd Shift (Monday – Thursday):

  • 2:00 PM – 12:00 Midnight
  • Fridays off
Key Responsibilities:
  • Assemble electrical control panels per schematics and wiring instructions
  • Interpret and follow detailed assembly drawings and notes
  • Maintain high standards of quality and efficiency
  • Occasionally assist in training and mentoring other assemblers
  • Demonstrate leadership in work performance and attitude
Qualifications:
  • Experience: Minimum 4 years in electrical assembly or related field
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with NEMA, NEC, UL, IEC standards; basic electrical code
  • Skills: Ability to read schematics, work independently, and use Microsoft Office
  • Physical Requirements: Lift 40 lbs regularly, up to 75 lbs occasionally; stand for 8 hours
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent
  • Preferred: Experience with ISO9001:2008 quality procedures
Interview Process:

Conducted in-person with the Production Supervisor and includes:

  • Tour of the production floor
  • Hands-on review of electrical panels
  • Written test to assess technical knowledge and determine pay level

  • Stability: Avoid candidates with frequent job changes (e.g., every 6 months)
  • Employment Gaps: Unemployment of 3–6 months may be a concern unless justified
  • Relevance: Resumes must clearly show applicable experience and consistent work history
