Electrical Maintenance Project Coordinator
Where will you work: Onsite at Bartow (3200 Highway 60 West | Bartow, FL 33830)
How will you work: You will be eligible to work a 9/80 schedule with every other Friday off.
The Electrical Maintenance Project Coordinator oversees the planning and execution of electrical projects, ensuring effective coordination with contractors and alignment with plant operations. Key responsibilities include defining project scope, managing bidding processes, supervising work execution, ensuring job site safety, controlling costs, and facilitating communication across departments. This role may also involve reviewing and approving work permits, as well as conducting audits and inspections to ensure compliance and quality standards.
What you’ll do?
Provide support in implementing capital projects which may include preparing Capital Requests (CR’s), working with Purchasing to select contractors, managing contracts, manage capital project funds and coordination of field activities supporting work execution.
Provide assistance with managing significant reactive work.
Identify and requisition materials or services, or supervising Mosaic Maintenance Mechanics or Technicians.
Assist with managing area turnarounds.
Lead the team turnaround team.
Identify the Turnaround (TA) Scope, coordinate activities, manage budgets and track progress during execution.
Manage contractors performing supplemental and specialty maintenance work.
Bid work as required by Purchasing, requisition services, manage contracts, manage expense funds and coordinate field activities supporting work execution.
Track maintenance budget for projects.
Analyze feedback from contractors and other sources to identify and implement productivity improvement opportunities.
What you’ll need:
High School/GED required
2 - 3 years of electrical experience in power systems and instrumentation
1+ years of Computerized Maintenance System (EMPAC or Maximo) experience required.
Industrial Maintenance experience.
Ability to manage contractor-related electrical projects.
Bonus if you have the following:
SAP experience
PMP certification
Bachelor's Degree preferred, major in Engineering.
