Looking for a SME at building executive level, large PowerPoint presentation decks containing technical information


Position: Executive Presentation Specialist / PowerPoint SME

Location: 3 days/week on-site Charlotte, North Carolina

Duration: 18-24 month contract

Employment Type: W2. At this time, Apex is not able to consider candidates for this role who require visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Pay Rate Range: $60-65/hr



Top Requirements:

1. 10+ years of experience in roles involving executive communication, storytelling, or strategic presentation development.

2. Proven ability to synthesize complex information into clear, compelling narratives tailored for senior leadership (C-suite).

3. Strong skills in data visualization—not necessarily tool-specific but must understand how to present data in a way that resonates with executive audiences.

4. Experience working in large enterprise environments; familiarity with finance is a plus. Could also have background in sales/marketing.

5. Ability to form and communicate a clear opinion—must be decisive and able to guide direction while remaining open to feedback.


Nice to Haves:

1. Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or similar platforms.

2. Finance background


Day to Day Responsibilities/project specifics:

· Collaborate with internal teams to gather complex, technical, or strategic information.

· Craft executive-level presentations and narratives that communicate key messages effectively.

· Support strategic initiatives by helping visualize data and concepts in a digestible format.

· Work behind the scenes to shape messaging for senior leadership; will not be presenting but must understand how to present effectively.

· Help guide the team with a clear point of view and strategic input on presentation structure and content.
