The Role

As a Software Engineer you will be an integral part of the Workplace Investment Quality Engineering COE. You will be expected to work with the latest web technologies to learn and design best-in-class tools that will support teams across WI Technology. You'll get the opportunity to develop your skills, collaborate across Fidelity teams and continue to learn in a fun, iterative, and constantly evolving environment. In this role, the analyses and insights delivered are critical components to drive business planning and ongoing decision making.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

  • A Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Software engineering or related field
  • Strong experience in software development standard methodologies and SDLC
  • 3 - 5 years of experience working in software engineering development in 1 or more of the following: Angular, Java Script, Spring, REST Services, Cloud (AWS), Test and Deployment technologies
  • Experience with data visualization applications (PowerBI, Qlik, Tableau, etc.)
  • Experience in Python, Unix scripting or related programming languages
  • Experience in Continuous Integration and Source Code tools (Jenkins, Artifactory, Git/Stash/Bit Bucket)
  • Experience with monitoring systems such as CloudWatch, Datadog/Splunk, ELK stack.
  • Hands-on Experience with Public Cloud environments, preferably AWS and Azure.
  • Deeply self-motivated with the ability to work independently, coordinating activities within cross-regional and multi-functional teams
  • A passion for excellence, innovation, and teamwork; eager to learn and adapt every day
  • Experience with Agile software development methodologies, delivery projects, and implementation
  • Strong technical design and analysis skills.
