The desired candidate should have 10 + Years of related experience or a 4-year degree in related field.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

Abide by all safety rules and help establish and maintain a culture focused on safety. Perform project startup and commissioning activities as directed by the Startup Leads and Site Startup Manager. Assist Startup Leads in managing project Startup budgets and schedules. Accurately document startup and commissioning results including punch list development. Develop Startup Turnover Packages. Support implementation of Startup procedures on project. Ensure that the quality requirements of the applicable plans, specifications and standards are met. Identify installation problems, assist in developing solutions, and ensure corrective actions are taken by the craft, contractor or vendor in accordance with an approved plan.


SKILL SETS & EXPERTISE:

?Self-starter, proactive with effective communication skills. Adequate knowledge of OSHA and applicable environmental regulations. Broad general knowledge of fossil power plants and major equipment/systems design and operation. Requirements and regulations for working on or around energized equipment. Adequate knowledge of LOTO procedures. Ability to read and interpret drawings and operations manuals. Ability to communicate/interact with employees across all management levels. Ability to build effective relationships with plant staff, design engineering staff and vendors. Ability to manage time properly and handle multiple assignments simultaneously. Adequate knowledge of I&C logic, P&IDs, instrumentation details, DCS configurations. Ability to perform point to point checkout, yellow-lining, and loop checkout along with daily Startup coordinating responsibilities.
