FactSet is looking for an Implementation Specialist to join our Professional Services group to focus on delivering our Performance Solutions to our clients.
Our Professional Services Group is an essential partner to our clients to support complex changes across their organizations, drive enterprise deployments of FactSet solutions, manage organizational restructures, and implement process improvements. Those in our performance team bring a passion for data analysis, performance management, and client service to ensure that client requirements are met to allow them to report for their stakeholders.
FactSet's Professional Services Team has the opportunity to work across the portfolio lifecycle within the Analytics & Trading Department. We work with all core analytics tools, such as PA (Portfolio Analysis), SPAR (our returns-based Style, Performance, and Risk tool), Portfolio Vault & Insight, Portfolio Batcher, Publisher, Analytics APIs, to name a few. As our mandate continues to grow, we are looking for eager, exceptionally talented individuals to join our team!
Analytics Implementation Specialists are part of a fast growing team comprised of subject matter experts, combining product and industry knowledge to help ensure customer success during implementations. Implementation Specialists are expected to be experts in the FactSet Performance Solution (FPS). As an implementation specialist you will work with a Professional Services project team to lead successful client implementations.
Responsibilities:
Providing product (functional and technical) guidance on the solutioning of processes based on customer needs
Effectively communicate with our most sophisticated users via a strong understanding of investment principles and their application in the industry
Identify growth strategies by outlining client organizational structures and uncovering additional opportunity during the implementation process
Share emerging trends, what is working well, and areas for improvement with the Analytics & Trading SBU
Study client workflows and partner with Product Development and Engineering to enhance FactSet’s products
Provide user training and support the development of training programs
Facilitate transition from implementation phase to support
Create user workflow specifications, custom report specifications, establish priority and direction to technical integration staff on client requirements
Implement new and enhance existing deployments to create a better user experience and further enable sales opportunities
Requirements:
Bachelor/Master degree or equivalent in Finance, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or other related scientific or technical discipline
At least 4 years of experience working with FactSet’s Analytics tools
Strong knowledge of performance workflows
10 years of financial services experience
Strong technical background
Proven technical proficiency particularly with writing complex screening codes
Understanding of how clients use FactSet Analytics and Performance Solutions products
CFA, CIPM, CAPM, FRM, MBA, or other industry certifications preferred
Extremely detail-oriented with the ability to see the big picture
Enthusiastic with a keen sense of initiative and a desire to take ownership
Willingness to travel
Job location: Austin, Charlotte, Norwalk, New York, Chicago and Toronto
Working Environment: Hybrid

Salary is just one component of our compensation package and is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, and certifications.
The budgeted amount range for this position in Connecticut and New York City is $119,000 - $130,000
