PURPOSE:
As an IT Project Manager, you will play the lead role in planning, executing, monitoring, controlling and closing projects for the Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO). You will be accountable for the entire project scope, managing all phases of the project life-cycle process, from conception/initiation through closing, in order to deliver results. This role will handle less complex projects that may have enterprise wide impact and/or handle portions of corporate initiatives. This may or may not require handling multiple project simultaneously depending on the scope and complexities of projects assigned.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Actively plan and manage your Waterfall or Agile projects holistically around scheduled program increments and milestones, scope, cost, resource health and risks while collaborating with stakeholders in key meetings resulting in successful project delivery
- Plan and own project finances which includes timing implications and key payment dates while proactively reporting status, scorecard creation and fulfilling project analysis requests by using critical and creative thinking
- Lead and contribute to vendor selection and procurement activities under program manager guidance while identifying, producing and fulfilling resource and go-live operational plans to set your project up for success
- Prepare key documents, present to executives and produce other reports as needed while collaborating with stakeholders to bring projects through project funding conversations and initiation ceremonies
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:
This position has no direct reports, however, may informally lead teams in a matrix environment.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education Level: Bachelor's Degree in Health Informatics, Information Technology, Information Systems or related discipline OR in lieu of a Bachelor's degree, an additional 4 years of relevant work experience is required in addition to the required work experience.
Experience: 3 years experience leading projects in a cross-functional, technical systems implementation
Preferred Qualifications: PMP - Project Management Professional is preferred but not required.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs)
- Strong Financial Management ability including comprehension of project financials, profit and loss and the ability to create and manage and adhere to a broader project budget.
- Strong Communication skills both written and verbal.
- Ability to successfully lead in a matrixed environment.
Licenses/Certifications:
- Certified Project Management Professional (PMP)-PMI Preferred
- SAFe Scrum Master Certification Preferred
Salary Range: $89,424 - $177,606

This compensation range is specific and considers factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education/training, internal peer equity, and market and business consideration.
