Job Description: Endpoint Security Analyst

Position Overview:

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Junior Endpoint Security Administrator to join our security team. This entry-level position will focus on supporting our antivirus, endpoint management, and data loss prevention (DLP) infrastructure. The successful candidate will play a key role in responding to incident tickets and ensuring the health and integrity of our endpoint security tool infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

Support and Maintenance:

  • Assist in the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of antivirus and endpoint management infrastructure.
  • Monitor and manage dashboards reporting the health of security tools on endpoints.
  • Perform routine checks and updates to ensure security tools are functioning optimally.

Incident Response:

  • Respond to incident tickets related to endpoint security issues, providing timely and effective solutions.
  • Collaborate with senior security team members to investigate and resolve security incidents.
  • Monitor dashboards to identify any trends that need to be addressed to prevent a security issue.
  • Document incident resolutions and contribute to the development of knowledge base articles.

Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field; or equivalent experience.
  • Basic understanding of antivirus, endpoint management, and DLP technologies.
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals) are a plus but not required.
