We are hiring for Maintenance Tech on our 3rd shift.

You will report to the shift supervisor and join a team of 235 plus team member.

You will work onsite at our Food manufacturing plant is in Kent WA.

Essential Functions:

Maintain and repair all aspects of production line equipment including cookers, wrappers, conveyors.

You will work all craft specialties, including electrical, welding, mechanical, refrigeration, pneumatic and structural.

Repair or replace defective parts on equipment. Dismantle machinery to access part(s) needing repair replaces/repairs defective parts and reassemble machinery. Lubricates and cleans working mechanisms on production equipment.

Respond to urgent needs to keep the production lines running.

Perform plant inspections on fire systems, storage freezers, refrigeration system., and record information into daily summaries on the computer.

Perform preventative maintenance work on equipment and ensure completion of work orders.

Can work varying hours and shifts, including overtime and weekends, to accommodate the production deadlines.

Must maintain regular attendance.

Report food safety problems to personnel with authority to initiate action.

Other maintenance duties as assigned.

Skills and Abilities:

Must follow all plant work, safety, food safety, and GMP standards.

Meet internal/external customer expectations through teamwork, respect, and a willingness to help and support others.

Must maintain a good working relationship with all other departments and other maintenance shifts.

To improve performance and work process through feedback, risk taking, and generating new ideas.

Work in temperatures ranging from 125F to +/- 20, averaging 85F.

Communicate with all levels.

Job Qualifications

Two (2) years previous experience in electrical controls, hydraulics, pneumatic and ammonia Refrigeration in a food manufacturing environment.

Refrigeration operator's license.

High School diploma or equivalent

Relevant trade or technical school training.
