Job Description
Location: METROHEALTH OUTPT SURGERY CTR
Biweekly Hours: 80.00
Shift: 7:30a-4p, Monday- Friday; Occasional Saturday Coverage Needed

Primary skills utilized/learned:
• Performs breast imaging procedures utilizing dedicated breast imaging equipment for the diagnosis of breast cancer and diseases.
• Provides appropriate age-specific patient care.
• Performs quality assurance appropriate for mammography.
• Upholds the mission, vision, values, and customer service standards of The MetroHealth System.

Required Qualifications:
• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program Registered Radiology Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) with advanced certification in mammography within 1 year of employment
• Valid Ohio Radiographer License BLS Certification from the American Heart Association or obtains within the standard probationary period
• Effective communications and good interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications:
• One year of job-related experience
• Previous experience in the use of computers dedicated to mammography equipment and special procedures.
Physical Requirements:
• May sit, stand, stoop, bend, and ambulate intermittently during the day.
• May need to lift, pull or push over 50 lbs.
• May need to sit or stand for extended periods.
• See in the normal visual range with or without correction.
• Hear in the normal audio range with or without correction.
