Manager Data Science - Supply Chain

Where will you work: Onsite at our North American Business Headquarters in Fish Hawk (located at 13830 Circa Crossing Drive Lithia, FL). Our US headquarters has an onsite gym and a welcoming campus style workspace with free coffee and tea.

Mosaic is seeking a hands-on, technically driven leader to shape and execute our global strategy for AI, machine learning, and analytics-driven optimization across the supply chain. In this high-impact role, you’ll lead transformative projects that integrate Python-based modeling, Lean Six Sigma methodologies, and scalable digital solutions to drive measurable cost savings, productivity gains, and cycle-time reductions. You’ll bridge data science, operations research, and process excellence while coaching teams and influencing stakeholders across the enterprise. Success in this role means delivering trusted, adopted models and tools, strengthening internal analytics capabilities, and clearly linking AI-driven insights to tangible business performance improvements. What you’ll do:

• Lead hands-on modeling and optimization initiatives using Python, SQL, and visualization tools to deliver predictive and prescriptive solutions for supply chain planning and network optimization.

• Develop and execute AI/ML and data science strategy aligned with Mosaic’s business vision and digital roadmap.

• Apply emerging technologies (e.g., Generative AI, Copilot Studio) and best practices in MLOps to accelerate modeling, improve decision-making, and enhance operational visibility.

• Drive continuous improvement through Lean Six Sigma projects, Kaizen events, and root cause analysis, achieving measurable cost reduction and process standardization.

• Coach and develop internal teams on analytics and process improvement methodologies to build sustainable capability and foster a data-driven culture.

• Partner with supply chain owners to translate business needs into technical requirements and deliver enhancements within supply chain planning platforms.

• Lead change management and process governance efforts to ensure adoption of digital solutions, KPI tracking, and alignment of technology, people, and processes for maximum business impact.

What you’ll need:

• Bachelor’s degree in statistics, data science, computer science, engineering or a related field

• 7+ years of experience in supply chain optimization, data science, or process improvement with demonstrated success in digital transformation initiatives

• Proven experience leading Lean Six Sigma or continuous improvement projects

• Advanced proficiency in Python including pandas, scikit-learn, PuLP, Pyomo and SQL, with ability to translate models into actionable insights

• Experience with AzureML and Azure DevOps

• Skilled in data visualization and reporting tools such as Power BI and Excel Solver with ability to communicate insights effectively to technical and non-technical audiences

• Demonstrated ability to lead through influence, collaborate across global teams, and work effectively in Agile and SCRUM environments

Bonus points if you have the following:

• Master’s degree in a related field

• Green Belt or Black Belt certification

• Familiarity with Copilot Studio and Generative AI applications in process optimization

• Exposure to ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle

• Working knowledge of industrial data platforms such as AVEVA PI System formerly OSIsoft PI for real-time data collection and visualization

• Experience in warehouse layout optimization, transportation modeling, or network design
