Duties and Responsibilities include: Offering inputs to proposals, contracts, modifications to contracts that identify risks and offering risk mitigations. Interface with Government Leadership and NG Company leadership demonstrating critical influencing skills. The ability to crisply provide situational awareness and status briefings - both verbally and in presentation submittal format. This candidate will possess experience or ability to identify and prepare performance metrics and analytics to continually assess the health and compliance of the Government Property organization. Recruiting, interviewing, hiring, mentoring, developing, and retaining employees. Providing performance reviews and ratings. Conduct periodic staff meetings and offer opportunities for engagement, development, and exposure to their staff. Set and operate to a budget and justify variances.
This position will reside in Annapolis, Maryland and will be 100% in the office.
Basic Qualifications:
• High School Diploma with a minimum of 5 years of Logistics, Material Handling, Inventorying or Government Property (or other adjacent/equivalent fields) experience.
• Possesses strong communications skills, ability to counsel, coach, develop, motivate, and mentor staff of professionals and non-exempts.
• Experience working with diverse levels of internal / external customers (i.e. Agency Leads, DCMA, OEM Customers.)
• Experience in team leadership.
• Experience with asset management principles, theories, and concepts.
• Experience with FAR Part 45, and FAR 52.245-1.
• U.S Citizenship
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD SECRET clearance (with goal of obtaining a TS Clearance and other Agency Specific Clearances as Required)
Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree or higher
• Active DoD TS and other clearances/accesses
• Sustaining NPMA Participation and or Certifications
• Experience with SAP, DoD PIEE GFP Module or Other Property/Asset Management Tools
• Experience with Microsoft Office Applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint.
• Experienced with DCMA Government Property Job Aid or Agency Guides.
• A current member or future member of the NG Corporate Government Property Working Group with inclination to support via committee lead or like participation.
Primary Level Salary Range: $95,400.00 - $143,200.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
