Job Description
As a Program Manager, you will directly report to the Poland IBCS director and be responsible for all programmatic elements including cost, technical and schedule performance. In addition to managing programmatic elements of the IBCS portfolio, you will lead initiatives to drive out cost, control risk, effectively implement change, and capture new business. You will interface with program leadership, the product line team, functional leadership, and external customer stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
The essential duties and responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following:
• Leads the successful execution of programmatic elements within your program(s)
• Accountable for achieving cost, schedule, and technical requirements for a large, complex program with scope inclusive of development, production, fielding, training, and sustainment
• Responsible for achieving internal financial performance goals including sales and profit margin
• Performs ROI calculations and determines whether to use program funds or pursue alternative funding if applicability is sufficiently broad
• Leads comprehensive development and management of program risk & opportunity, inclusive of risk mitigation activities and opportunity realization activities
• Collaborates with Product Line to oversee change activities, optimize CCBs, etc. for nature and phase of program
• CAM responsibility for program management elements of the assigned program(s)
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree with 8 years of program management leadership experience OR Master's degree with 6 years of program management experience
• Demonstrated leadership within a large, cross-functional matrix organization
• Demonstrated leadership on a program with significant manufacturing scope
• Experience in program-level financial management and reporting (Earned Value Management, Control Account Management, Risk Management)
• Demonstrated capture and large proposal development experience
• Demonstrated executive communication, presentation, and collaboration with internal stakeholders and external customers
• Strong business acumen
• Active Secret clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience transitioning a program from Engineering Manufacturing Development (EMD) through Low Rate Initial Production (LRIP) and Full Rate Production (FRP) strongly preferred
• Experience leading complex programs with multifaceted scope inclusive of production, fielding, and sustainment
• Experience leading programs utilizing a product line execution model
• Familiarity with command and control systems and air and missile defense
• Experience working with the US Army
• Program management experience on an ACAT-1 program
• Understanding of organizational financial management and reporting
• Experience in resource planning and staffing to plan
• Proven ability to manage and lead program managers
• Agile experience and training
• Project Management Professional certification or equivalent
Primary Level Salary Range: $184,300.00 - $276,500.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
