Metallurgical Laboratory Technician
We are seeking a detail-oriented and physically capable Metallurgical Lab Technician to support our materials testing and analysis operations. This role involves approximately 75% outdoor work, including manual sample collection and cleaning. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, a commitment to safety, and an interest in metallurgy and materials science.
What you’ll do?
Manually collect metal and material samples from field locations using appropriate tools and safety procedures.
Perform routine preventative maintenance on lab equipment.
Conduct plant tests and sampling related to processes within minerals operations.
The ideal candidate will operate and maintain various laboratory equipment (core washer, flotation machines etc.).
Perform processing and testing procedures on matrix prospect core samples.
Knowledge of safety standards in industrial or lab environments.

What you’ll need:
High School/GED required.
1-2 years of Laboratory experience required.
Working Conditions:
Outdoor work approximately 75% of the time.
Exposure to heat, cold, and industrial environments.
Physical activity including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
