Motion and Graphic Designer
Location: Atlanta, GA (Onsite, 5 days/week, located in Dunwoody near 85 & 400 intersection)
Duration: 40 hours/week freelance (W2, hourly rate), possible conversion to full time
Overview
Our client is seeking a highly creative and efficient Motion and Graphic Designer to join their in-house brand team. This role is ideal for someone with an agency background who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can produce high-quality, short-form content at scale. The designer will play a key role in bringing brand stories to life through engaging motion graphics across digital and print platforms.
Responsibilities
- Design and animate short-form motion graphics for social media reels, web, and external communications.
- Design static graphics for event invitations, posters, social media, and external communications.
- Collaborate closely with the creative team to fulfill content requests.
- Manage and track project workflows using Monday.com.
- Support occasional video editing tasks using Adobe Premiere Pro.
- Produce 15-20 projects per week.
- Optimize content for platforms including Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
- Work with existing brand elements to create new visual assets.
- Repackage existing brand assets into fresh, engaging content for departments such as athletics and events.
- Maintain brand consistency while exploring creative approaches.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically After Effects and Premiere Pro.
- Familiarity with project management tools (Monday.com preferred).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in design, ideally in an agency or high-volume creative setting.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating ability to maintain quality while working quickly.
- Comfortable working onsite in a collaborative, creative environment.
- Skilled in repurposing brand assets and adapting to evolving visual styles.
In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data. This position is onsite and requires you to work closely with other individuals in a collaborative team environment.
