NH3 Maintenance Supervisor

Job Description

Reporting to the Engineering Manager at our Louisville, KY facility, you will oversee the NH3 department, Ammonia Refrigeration systems, electrical systems, compressed air systems, waste water treatment systems and other infrastructure areas within all plant facilities. You will coordinate work with outside contractors and have direct oversite of the refrigeration team.

How Will You Affect Our Business?

  • Responsible for asset reliability to reduce downtime and assure peak plant efficiencies. Complete capital engineering design and projects with coordination with corporate engineering, production and to support contractors and vendors
  • Comply with all current and future Safety, HACCP, GMP and Food Safety Procedures.
  • Comply with all PSM/RMP regulations
  • Participate and maintain Process Safety Management Program.
  • Oversee major and minor repairs on Utility Equipment (Boilers, Ammonia Refrigeration, HVAC, Air Compressors, Fire Retention Systems and Cooling Towers).
  • Train, motivate and direct employees to follow safe work methods and standards
  • Oversee the purchase of supplies and repair parts with regard to quality
  • Support the plant's safety program.
  • Comply with all OSHA safety regulations and standards

Do You Have What It Takes?

  • Associate's degree in mechanical engineering or other technical degree program.
  • 2+ years' experience in utilities with an emphasis in HVAC/R, Controls or Electrical.
  • 3+ years of experience working with ammonia/refrigeration systems in a food processing plant
  • Management or leading teams experience
  • Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, blueprints, schematics, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Experience with Preventative Maintenance programs. Knowledge of Electronic and Electrical principals.

Compensation:

Pay Range:$63,000-$93,000

The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee's actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees' equity.Conagra Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees.
