Location: MetroHealth Main Campus- Glick
Bi-weekly Hours: 72.00
Shift: 7p-7a; Rotating Weekends & Holidays

Primary Patient Population:
Bi-weekly Hours: 72.00

Primary Patient Population:
- Post-surgical patients from approximately 14 different service lines
- Bariatric recovery
- Gender Affirming procedural recovery
- Acute Medical
Primary skills utilized/learned:- Monitoring and recording patient vital signs
- Assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
- Performing duties as instructed by RN
Personnel RN will work with:- LPNs, Registered Nurses, Nurse Interns, Providers, Social Workers, PT/OT, Speech Therapy, Dieticians
Number of beds on unit:- 34 bed spaces (14 private rooms, 10 semi-private rooms)

Required Qualifications:- High School Diploma or passage of a high school equivalency exam.
- Ability to work in a team environment while demonstrating good judgment, flexibility, initiative, and effectively problem-solving skills.
- Current AHA Basic Life Support for the healthcare provider certification or obtained within 90 days of hire.
Preferred Qualifications:- Registered in good standing as a State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) with the Ohio Department of Health (ODH) Nurse Aide Registry (NOTE: Maintaining ODH Registry status as a STNA is optional after employment in this position).
- 1 year of experience as a Patient Care Nurse Assistant in a hospital.
