Job Description
We’re seeking an experienced Product Designer with 5-7 years of experience to join our team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will collaborate with the Design Lead, Product Owners and developers to create intuitive, user-centered designs while working within our established design systems. This position reports to the Design Lead on the project for design feedback and direction.
Key Responsibilities
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs for digital products
- Work directly with Product Owners to understand requirements and translate them into design solutions
- Collaborate with developers, preparing and delivering dev-ready design documentation
- Contribute to our design system and ensure consistent collaboration and implementation with the larger team
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and design reviews
- Conduct user research and usability testing as needed (A/B testing)
Required Qualifications
- 5-7 years of experience in product design
- Expert proficiency with Figma for design and prototyping
- Strong experience with Miro for collaborative design work
- Demonstrated experience working in Agile environments
- Experience working with and contributing to design systems
- Proven track record of preparing and handing over dev-ready design documentation
- Portfolio demonstrating user-centered design process, solutions and outcomes
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders

This role is onsite and remote. Talent not local to Cambridge will NOT be considered.
