Product Manager, Measurement

The Role


As a Product Manager for Data & Measurement, you will have a key role in supporting our client's data driven culture by ensuring that we have the data and reporting required to measure success. You will work closely with business partners, other product managers and your engineering team to create data collection and measurement solutions. Your clientele will span multiple domains, including digital, omni-channel, store digital, HR and supply chain. Your extended product team includes senior product managers responsible for machine learning, marketing technology, reporting and personalization. Our client is a leader in omni-channel with a best in class website and unparalleled service in stores. You will collect, integrate and utilize data to drive our business, measure the business and improve the customer experience.


  • Work with the Lead Product Manager of Data & Measurement to define short-term and long term roadmaps
  • Act as a subject matter expert for omni-channel, sales and marketing data, helping the business leverage the data
  • Manage intake of new data initiatives with responsibility to capture requirements and identify data and reporting teams required for a solution
  • Prioritize user stories to keep the development team focused on delivering business benefit as early as possible
  • Work with reporting teams to align data sets with reporting
  • Define requirements for new work with Jira user stories
  • Ensure critical business initiatives have defined KPIs and measurement in place to determine success
  • Serve as product owner for associated scrum teams
  • Ensure new data is documented with appropriate data quality controls
  • Educate product and business partners on measurement best practices
  • Drive continual improvements to improve business measurement
  • Help develop processes, templates and tools to delivery effectively and consistently across projects


Desired Qualifications:

  • Have a proven track record of delivering measurable products and projects
  • Can communicate effectively to business and technical partners in their own ‘language’
  • Strong interpersonal skills to lead teams and facilitate resolution of issues
  • 5+ years leading data focused initiatives requiring reporting
  • 7+ years in B2C technical product development related roles leading data initiatives
  • Solid understanding of the information flow and databases required to support reporting
  • Intermediate level SQL skills
  • Experience working with online clickstream and CRM data
  • Experience creating reports and dashboards using Thoughtspot, Tableau or similar reporting tools
  • Ability to conceptualize solutions after gathering requirements
  • Ability to create clear requirements using Jira user stories
  • Nimble and flexible with regards to changing priorities & business needs, and in managing diverse teams & people
  • Proven ability to meet critical deadlines while maintaining strong relationships with internal teams and vendor partners
  • Self-sufficient with ability to operate effectively without close supervision
  • 3+ years experience working in an agile sprint development cycle and release process
  • Experience using JIRA and agile methodologies
  • Experience working with online clickstream data is preferred
  • Experience using metadata tools like Collibra and implementing data governance practices are highly desired
