As a Senior Product Manager focused on retirement distribution and RMDs, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of retirement planning. This exciting Senior Product Manager role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the full product development lifecycle, from discovery to measurement. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, UX designers, engineers, and data analysts, to create innovative solutions that empower clients to achieve their retirement goals.
Responsibilities:
- Become a subject matter expert in retirement distribution and RMDs.
- Drive product discovery and business analysis activities, translating client needs into detailed requirements, including PRDs, process maps, and use case models.
- Partner with cross-functional teams (Business, UX Design, UX Research, Engineering, Data/Analytics, and Digital Product) to deliver exceptional digital experiences.
- Leverage research and data to gain user insights, inform product decisions, and identify opportunities for future enhancements.
- Own the product backlog, acting as the product owner in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and product demos.
- Work with technical counterparts to define product release requirements and investigate production issues.
- Collaborate with marketing communications on the go-to-market strategy and provide updates to executive management.
Must-Have Qualifications:
- Strong product strategy and business analysis skills, with a proven track record of delivering successful digital products.
- Demonstrated ability to use data, user research, and data-driven measurement to inform product decisions.
- Effective relationship-building, cross-functional collaboration, and strong communication skills.
- Passion for digital innovation, commitment to superb client experience, and experience with client journeys and digital user experience.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams, prioritizing backlogs, defining requirements, and ensuring timely delivery.
- Experience with digital product development and understanding of how digital products integrate into existing ecosystems.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications:
- Understanding of financial services regulations, specifically around Retirement.
- Experience with experiment-driven product development, hypothesis testing, and data analysis.
- Experience with SQL, Gherkin language, and working in a regulated environment with legal and compliance considerations.
- Proficiency in MS Project, MS Visio, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, JIRA, Confluence, Tableau, Adobe Analytics, Splunk, Optimizely, A/B Testing, and MABL.
The target hiring compensation range for this role is $63 to $70 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
