Production Team Leader - Off Shift (Supervisor)

Job Description

Under the direction of the Production Manager at our Denver facility, local producers of our gluten free brands Udi's and Glutino, you will oversee production activities on 3rd shift to support the plant's strategic goals focused on Safety, People, Quality, Delivery, and Cost. You will lead training and development to build the operations team.

How Will You Affect Our Business?

  • Monitor production to ensure that quality, productivity, and cost standards are maintained.

  • Provide employee training to ensure that employees are performing job responsibilities.

  • Help oversee sanitation operations to maintain a clean and food safe environment.

  • Enforce plant rules, regulations and procedures.

  • Evaluate team performance, communicate with employees, and provide information for work performance improvement.

  • Help support plant and company safety programs, promoting a high level of awareness and adherence to defined employee safety requirements such as lock-out/tag-out, personal protective equipment, and confined space entry.

Do you have what it takes?

  • Understanding of manufacturing processes and loss

  • Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices and sanitation requirements

  • Experience supervising or leading teams

  • Knowledge of continuous improvement systems and practices

  • Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment

  • Experience in a maintenance/mechanical environment

  • Working knowledge of plant equipment and safety

  • Ability to work weekends and/or shift work with a strong work ethic and employment history

  • Bachelor's degree preferred and 2+ years' experience in a manufacturing operations environment

  • Physical requirements include standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally, with tasks involving reaching, kneeling, or crouching. You will work in an environment with varying temperatures and noise levels. Reasonable accommodation will be provided for individuals with disabilities.

Compensation:

Pay Range:$63,000-$93,000

The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee's actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees' equity.Conagra Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees.
