Our financial services client is looking for a Program Manager to work a 3-month assignment (40 hrs/week) with a strong possibility to be extended. Candidates must be able to work onsite 2 days/week (3 days WFH) in Wilmington, DE. Please note that remote work is not an option for this client.
In this role, you will manage entire projects/program life cycles across the performance marketing, operations and transformation team. You'll turn business strategies into clear plans and effective programs. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide oversight to cross-functional programs and projects from strategic ideation through successful implementation.
- Set the vision and define high-level objectives, deliverables, scope, and timelines in close collaboration with the executive leadership team.
- Lead and mentor senior project managers to ensure risk is proactively managed and project status is communicated effectively at the executive level.
- Oversee product lifecycle & implementation of enhancements, ensuring product strategies and iterations align with overall business goals.
- Drive synergy between product delivery initiatives and overarching corporate strategy, including digital transformation and AI-driven innovation.
- Articulate clear, long-term business strategies and milestones that tie directly to core business revenue drivers and market evolution.
- Establish and nurture high-level relationships with key stakeholders and strategic partners.
- Serve as the spokesperson for critical projects, delivering regular updates and strategic briefings to leadership.
- Champion a culture of continuous improvement, aligning project management methodologies with best practices across the organization.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Bachelors degree (BA/BS) in Business, Technology, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent advanced degree is highly preferred.
- A minimum of 5+ years of progressive experience in program or project management, with significant exposure to end-to-end product delivery in complex, high-growth environments.
- Demonstrated expertise in conducting in-depth business analysis and translating strategic business objectives into actionable plans.
- Outstanding leadership and organizational skills with an ability to oversee multiple initiatives concurrently in a fast-paced environment.
- Superior communication skills
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Extensive experience with marketing operations, MarTech solutions, or digital transformation initiatives.
- Proficiency with modern project management tools and agile methodologies (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, Microsoft Project).
- Experience with digital marketing automation and analytics platform tools (e.g., Salesforce Marketing Cloud).
- Knowledge of emerging AI and automation trends coupled with practical experience in innovation pipeline management.
- Proven track record of managing complex, strategic initiatives that align with corporate objectives and deliver measurable business results.
