The person in this role will work hand-in-hand with finance and commercial leaders to model, analyze and explain expenses across the Commercial organization. This role leads financial decision support with business partners; research and recommend options and solutions for improved business results to senior management. This proven leader will oversee financial expense reporting among the FP&A team and support new business initiatives.
Manage two direct reports supporting the sales teams as well as several corporate functions.
Develop and mentor staff through on-boarding, open communication, training and development opportunities and performance management processes; build and maintain employee morale and motivation; ensure the team is appropriately staffed with required competencies.
Be a strategic thought partner with senior sales leadership, FP&A VP and Director to set strategy and priorities. Be a thought-leader amongst other Finance managers and peers.
Communicate financial results for new signing and customer retention analysis. Interpret financial results and metrics to business partners and the broader finance organization.
Own the selling expense forecast across the commercial organization.
Develop complex modeling solutions, analysis and reporting to support strategic initiatives.
Work cross-functionally to interpret business drivers influencing results. Effectively highlight the true business drivers and their sustainability (isolating from one-time events).
Perform ROI analysis, scenario modeling, and providing decision support for future business planning decisions and investments.
Drive continuous improvement by creating new analysis, innovating on current metrics and reporting. Identify areas for automation to create capacity for analysis and project work.
Basic Requirements
Bachelor’s degree.
At least 7 years of financial planning, reporting and/or analysis experience.
At least 5 years of experience providing financial advice and counsel to P&L/business owners.
Experience contributing to strategic decision making and goal setting initiatives.
Experience leading profit improvement initiatives.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Experience working with large data sets (1 million+ rows)
Familiarity in SAP and Oracle systems
Willing to travel for business purposes (within state and out of state).
Preferred Qualifications
Finance or Supply Chain concentrations preferred
Experience directly managing people including hiring, developing, motivating, and directing people as they work.
Experience using Tableau (building dashboards, calculated fields, parameters and sets)

The anticipated salary range for this position:
$132,600.00 - $199,160.00 AnnualThe actual salary will vary based on applicant’s location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. This role is bonus and/or incentive eligible. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold.
