The FI Data Solutions team is seeking an experienced, highly motivated and skilled Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our Fidelity Institutional Business Enablement Technology data squad in Smithfield, RI. The data infrastructure is going through significant growth and modernization, and this is an opportunity to take a leading role in shaping FI capability in this area. The work involves solution design, collaboration with our Salesforce CRM UI squads, data analysis, production rollout and production support project activities on data lakes using Snowflake, AWS, Python.
The Team
This position will be part of a critical data squad, Bsharks, while partnering with the Tech Mavericks and CRM Salesforce Delivery squads to form the data integration center for customer relationship management (CRM) within FI. We provide our CRM users with essential data for their day-to-day operations and support our clients. In addition, we deliver CRM team data to operational and reporting platforms, while building lasting and insightful relationships with our consumers. Our team partners closely with the Fidelity Institutional (FI) Market Readiness Team, is innovative, diverse, passionate, self-driven and customer obsessed. This is a dynamic environment that operates using mature agile practices and principles. We stress customer-obsessed thinking and a creative culture! The ideal candidate will have a passion for data and fall in love with the problem at hand, working through systems analysis and team collaborations to solve it. The Expertise and Skills You Bring
Bachelor's or master's Degree in a technology related field (e.g. Engineering, Computer Science, etc.) required with 6+ years of experience
6+ years of experience in Data Warehousing, Data mart concepts & implementations
4+ years of experience in Data Warehousing concepts & implementations (Snowflake preferred)
4+ years of experience in object-oriented programming languages like Python/Java
2+ years of experience in Python programming
Experience in Container technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
Experience with containerization (Docker preferred)
Experience in job scheduling tools (Control-M preferred)
Experience with orchestration tools (Control-M preferred, Apache Airflow Nice to Have
Experience with DevOps, Continuous integration and Continuous Delivery (Maven, Gradle, Jenkins, Git, Terraform, OpenTofu, Kubernates
