The Role

As a leader with our Corporate Actions Team, you will have operational oversight of all announcement and reconciliation processes associated with corporate actions and income payments for the Fidelity Agency Lending business. We need a strategic thinker capable of staying abreast of corporate actions industry related trends and changes.
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
- 5+ years of Brokerage Operations experience required.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, coach and mentor a team of associates to their full potential
- Operational experience supporting international processing required.
- Perform daily reconciliation of corporate action events with custodians and brokers, ensuring all data is correctly captured and discrepancies are resolved.
- Experience supporting international stock lending
- Act as an intermediary between banks and borrowers focusing on the importance of timely and accurate communication.
- Manage expiration date events (and relevant liabilities) along with reconciliation of new entitlements for a variety of regionally specific corporate actions.
- Event and instruction management in proprietary Fidelity applications.
- Accountable for key talent management processes including hiring, on boarding, goal setting, performance evaluations and other career development activities for a team.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate, empower and communicate effectively and assertively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to adjust team/departmental priorities to support changing needs.
- Participation as a key stakeholder in prioritization of enhancements and new releases of core functional systems.
- Track record of end-to-end process improvement delivering tangible business results.
- Series 99 or 7 required or obtained within 90 days

The Team
This dynamic team is a part of FBOT within the Operations & Services Group (OSG), Asset Servicing division. The OSG team is responsible for the accurate and timely announcement and processing of Domestic and International Corporate Action and Income events in a high energy and fast-paced team environment. The team is responsible for supporting the Agency Lending business.
The base salary range for this position is $79,000-153,000 USD per year.Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate's relevant experience, and other factors.
Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements, the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.
