If so, we want to hear from you!The Senior Project Manager (SPM) is a significant member of the Project Delivery Team! The SPM provides project and regional support for Fidelity Investments Real Estate. The SPM manages and coordinates various sized real estate projects through all phases of design, permitting and construction in the Midwest Region. Providing proactive, forward-thinking leadership for their projects by actively handling project workload, The SPM connects various team members, provides organizational context/standard processes, finds new ways to improve project delivery, and crafts team development opportunities. The SPM operates as the principal project representative, working collaboratively with Fidelity service providers, external vendors, project stakeholders and regulatory agencies, such as building code and inspection officials.In this role, you are accountable for the coordination of scope, schedule and budget and allocation of resources and project delivery standards for all assigned projects. You will develop, monitor, measure and forecast program level budgets for all projects within an assigned portfolio, and will lead complex project delivery through programming, design, construction and occupancy in accordance with Fidelity Real Estate design and engineering guidelines.The Expertise and Skills You Bring A bachelor's degree in architecture, interior design, engineering, or construction; a graduate degree in a business, finance, management, real estate and/or construction management is preferred or equal experience in the industry.- 5-10 years of experience leading design and construction teams and a passion to deliver projects at fast pace in a demanding environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Experience in CAD, InDesign, Illustrator or Bluebeam is a plus. PMP Certification is preferred
- In-depth knowledge of construction, including site, ground up, interiors, mission critical and technology focused projects.
- Ability to build and deliver a project plan - build, monitor, and communicate project schedule and budget; identify, communicate and mitigate risk; identify, validate assumptions; and assess and control quality.
- A keen sense of ownership, accountability, and urgency, demonstrating initiative, dedication, strong work ethic and ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
- Familiarity with standard industry contracts (AIA documents) and certifications (LEED/ISO), standard project processes and durations, standard building engineering, operations and technology processes and infrastructure.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and make sound decisions by soliciting input from others and considering tradeoffs and develop cogent reporting with relevant analysis and reasoning to leadership as needed.
- Ability to communicate professionally, with tact and diplomacy, to represent Fidelity appropriately. Must demonstrate interpersonal awareness, recognizing impact on others and adapting to be effective in different situations.
- Comfortable adapting to new and changing business areas and taking initiative to drive projects forward and deliver value in a sophisticated, cross-functional working environment
