Job Title: Senior Manager Risk

The Role

As a Senior Manager on the Fraud Risk & Control (FRC) team, you will play a critical role in identifying and mitigating fraud risks across Fidelity's products and business units. You will execute risk assessments, document key controls, and collaborate with partners to strengthen the enterprise fraud risk management framework. In this role, you will support end-to-end risk assessment processes, help stakeholders identify risks for existing initiatives, and promote a strong control environment by documenting risk and control statements. You will also champion process improvements, manage overlap with other compliance programs, and make actionable recommendations to enhance fraud prevention. Success in this position requires adaptability to changing priorities, the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, and a commitment to fostering an inclusive team environment.

The Skills and Expertise You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree required; equivalent experience considered

  • 5+ years of experience in fraud, risk management, audit, or compliance within financial services

  • Strong knowledge of risk management practices and frameworks

  • Familiarity with systems such as Archer

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Understanding of investment products (preferred)

  • Proven ability to identify and mitigate fraud risks

  • Proficiency in documenting and maintaining comprehensive control statements

  • Experience in risk assessment and control evaluation

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Decisive, action-oriented, and solution-focused mindset

  • Critical thinker with curiosity and creativity to challenge current practices and recommend improvements

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision

The Team

You will join the Fraud Risk & Control team, a collaborative group dedicated to safeguarding Fidelity against fraud risks. The team partners with business units and compliance programs to promote a strong control environment and drive continuous improvement. Together, we champion an inclusive culture and adapt quickly to evolving business needs.

The base salary range for this position is $89,000-180,000 USD per year.

Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate's relevant experience, and other factors.

Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements, the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.
