Role Overview
We’re seeking a Senior React/Node Developer who can hit the ground running with minimal direction. This individual will lead front-end development efforts while contributing to backend API development. The ideal candidate is a seasoned engineer with deep expertise in modern JavaScript frameworks and mobile technologies.

Cloud / Infrastructure
• Entire system runs on Azure
• Uses Azure App Services
• Next.js is also deployed on Azure (not Vercel)
Queues / Caching / Backend Systems
• Redis
• Bull / BullMQ for queueing
DevOps
• Uses GitHub for DevOps pipelines
• Azure is used for hosting and infrastructure
• Candidates will need some DevOps knowledge
• There is a DevOps team, but engineers still handle certain responsibilities
Work Expectations & Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Backend vs Frontend Split
• Target split: 70% backend / 30% frontend
• React Native experience is a major plus
• Ideal candidates can work across backend, frontend, and mobile, but strong backend is most important
First 90 Days
• Work will be primarily backend
• Most current user stories and needs exist on the backend
UI Work
• Expected to increase as newer projects roll out
• Includes both web UI (React/Next.js) and mobile UI (React Native)
