Job Description
Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking to hire a Program Cost and Schedule Control Analyst to join its team of diverse and qualified individuals. This position will be located in Roy, UT and will support the Sentinel (GBSD) program in the Strategic Deterrent Systems (SDS) division. Northrop Grumman supports the Air Force's sustainment, development, production and deployment of hardware and system modifications for Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) Ground and Airborne Launch Control Systems, Launch Facilities and associated infrastructure.
Roles and Responsibilities
• Setting up cost control system, monitoring and controlling costs and schedules on contracts requiring validated cost schedule control system
• Performing analyses and preparing reports in order to ensure that contracts are within negotiated and agreed-upon parameters and government cost control guidelines
• Preparing budgets and schedules for contract work and performing and/or assisting in financial analyses
• Preparation of expenditure projections
• Incorporating contractual changes into control systems
• Performing miscellaneous financial analysis as required
• Participating in month-end cost reporting close activities
Basic Qualifications
• Requires US Citizenship and an active U.S. Government DoD Secret Security Clearance
• Requires a bachelor's degree with 2 years of Business, Finance, Accounting, Cost Accounting and/or Aerospace and Defense Business-related experience; 1 year with a master's degree; or 6 years of related experience may be accepted with a HS Diploma (or equivalent) in lieu of a degree
• Requires experience with MS Office Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel
• Requires experience with an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) tool, Business Intelligence and Analytics tool, Project Management and Planning tool and/or Collaboration and Integration tools
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Program Cost Analysis or Program Scheduling
• Earned Value Management System (EVMS) experience
• Experience working in Deltek Cobra
• Strong analytical ability
• Ability to effectively manage competing priorities and deadlines
• Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent problem solving and organizational skills

This position's standard work schedule is 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.

Primary Level Salary Range: $65,500.00 - $98,300.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
